With the continuous extension of the Company's entire industrial chain layout, the business has expanded from feed raw materials to high-quality eggs. While promoting large-scale farming, we strive to balance production efficiency and animal welfare and are committed to being a responsible food enterprise. Relying on standardized egg-laying chicken breeding bases, we improve every aspect of the chicken coop environment, feeding management, disease prevention and control, and full product traceability, to repay consumer and market trust with compliant farming and high-quality egg products.

The Company conducts external audits of the production and operation of all laying hen farms every year. The three existing egg-laying hen farms have all passed ISO9001 quality system certification, FSSC22000 food safety system certification, and China Good Agricultural Practice certification.

According to the relevant legal requirements of the Animal Husbandry Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations on Administration of Agricultural Genetically Modified Organisms Safety, all our layer chicks come from traditional conventional breeds and we do not introduce, cultivate, or raise any genetically modified or cloned egg-laying hens throughout the process.

The Company strictly complies with relevant national laws and regulations during the operation of the egg-laying hen farms, and prohibits any antibiotics during the egg laying period. In accordance with the Measures for the Administration of Commitment Certificate of Compliance for Agricultural Product Quality and Safety issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs under the State Council, each minimum sales packaging unit shall be issued with a Commitment Certificate of Compliance. This certificate shall comply with the unified requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on its specific format and shall be printed with the following statement: " We commit that no prohibited pesticides, veterinary drugs, and other compounds have been used; and that residues of conventional pesticides, veterinary drug residues used do not exceed relevant standards".

The Company strictly implements the provisions of the national standard GB/T 20014.6-2013 Livestock Base Control Points and Compliance Criteria, and completely prohibits feeding various hormones and therapeutic drugs as growth-promoting substances to laying hens; the Company eliminates the addition of hormones throughout the entire process of feed formula, daily feeding, and disease treatment.

In order to safeguard animal welfare directly related to food quality and safety, Yihai Kerry has formulated the Animal Welfare Policy in accordance with relevant laws and regulations and in light with its operational situation.
